Tony Allen did some fucking good stuff on this album:

All the shit at work with ink put a fucking earworm in my umm… Ear. I’ll share it:

In the summer of 1986, the original members of the Buffalo Springfield met at Stephen Stills’ home to rehearse new material that Stephen and Neil Young were working on and to make tentative plans to reunite for a 20th anniversary reunion tour. The 2 day practice session marked the first time that the five founding members had played together since their break-up in 1967. The rehearsals were kept a secret and my understanding was that management was not keen on having the sessions videotaped. However, after some deliberation, the band over ruled management and decided that they wanted to document the get together.

Thought I’d seen nearly all ogwt footage and every band when something pops up I have no memory of.
Can’t say I’ve heard of them

Remember the name of the band, but not the music, at-all!

The 2nd track, in trance sounds very familiar, but don’t remember the band at all.

Going from 81-85,and all 3 lived in the same Birmingham street.

After the raven album, the stranglers thought it would be a good idea to mature there songwriting by taking heroin
Luckily none of them became badly addicted, though Hugh cornwell spent a few weeks inside for possession.

The outcome was the weird gospel to the meninblack.

Apparently this is getting played a bit at old punks funerals

The Raven was arguably my favourite of their albums, but one or two subtle hints along the way suggests the Heroin use was already well underway…

A very fresh-faced Chuck Mosley.

Don’t think I’ve heard this since the mid 80s
First minute and a bit could easily be a Sade track

I was far too young to remember what came before the whistle test years.
It was called disco 2. Here with Nico

I wondered how Corey Fogel made these crazy beats and effects with his drumming:

And it seems among other things he uses spanners! Cool!

Check out the 'Solo Make it up Club:

Last night’s gig with Elina Duni and Rob Luft was just vocal and guitar, but still excellent.
