On my way home this morning the M40 was down to 40 mph due to the presence of several snowflakes. There was also some white stuff falling from the sky 
Snow just started here (Shrops). It’s laying but somehow I made it back from the pub with 2 wet dogs.

Force 10 Southerly here at the moment. Gusting to 70 mph.
I’m not so bothered about the strength of the wind, it’s the fucking 30 second power cuts that we keep getting (at least 15 so far today) and it takes the Sky box ages to initialise each time, interrupting my enjoyment of the footy.
