I don’t subscribe to any twitter feeds at all. On the rare occasions I visit there these days (to check the classifieds) it is usually the first thing I see on the right hand side of the screen. It is almost always teeth-grindingly annoying, although sometimes it is worse than that…

How was your Xmas wine box? Did you allow yourself to sample it? I really liked the gin, neat over ice with some frozen berries or semi dried figs (from an anti-pasta platter from waitrose), or as a G&T with a Fever Tree Mediterranean tonic.

We had my sister and her kids with us for Xmas. I allowed myself a single glass of Pinot Noir with dinner on Xmas Day. The wine box took a savage caning from Jackie and my sister though. Fuck knows what neat gin would do to me currently. The after effects of Pinot Noir on Boxing Day were very entertaining though 
. I’m determined to not go yellow again so it is feckin’ Yorkshire feckin’ Tea all the way.

I like tea. Claire bought me a tea “chest” for Xmas, although I think it was a means to an end, because it replaced 5 different plastic tubs that were cluttering up a cupboard.
When I was filling it up I found a box of Lady Grey that I’d forgotten about, lovely stuff.
