2023 Formula One

No expert, but when I saw the move I did wonder if it is part of a medium term succession plan for Toto. With Toto perhaps moving even higher up the food chain within Mercedes.

Could also be cost/cap related: teams will surely be less inclined to park an expensive employee on gardening leave, esp when not going to a rival

Ref The Cost Cap

Past performance is a guide to future success?

If it is driven by a plumber’s apprentice it should be very competitive even if it is regularly parked like a cunt on the grid pre-race.

Would the plumbing costs exceed the cost cap though…

Some plumber’s vans contain harmful emissions from things other than the engine.

I was part of a group of six apprentices all taken on at the same time, we were all given transits within days of starting. Within the first six months we had been in 10 accidents between us and written off two vans. One day I took the entire side off on a bollard as i was turning in the same way you would steer a vauxhall nova. The guys in the firms garage bloody hated us.
Good times
