Overall @sjs remains top, but @htm_1968 has closed in to 4.5 points behind in 2nd, whilst @unclepuncle is 4 points adrift of @pan at the foot of the table

The table stays very stable, with @Ijrussell nosing ahead of @stu into 4th, and @htm_1968 remaining 5 points behind @sjs at the top, and @unclepuncle 9.5 points adrift of @Pan at the bottom

The player destroying silly festive football season kicked off in grand style with a host of new injuries over the weekend, and recommencing on Thursday night when Palace host Brighton ahead of 8 more matches before Xmas (if you dont count the EFL cup quarter finals, or club world cup championships)

No changes in the overall standings and rapidly onto Round 19 on Boxing Day with Newcastle hosting Notts Forrest at 12.30pm

Round 20 and a set of unpredictable results saw a close set of results. The crown was shared by @sjs and @unclepuncle with 9.5 points, from @Ijrussell and @malbec with 9 points. The wooden spoon was shared by @stu and @htm_1968 on 5.5 points, from @murrayjohnson and @Pan with 7.5 points.

Apparently the system was full of festive spirit, as @murrayjohnson picked up 5 points for games he didn’t actually select a result for :rofl:

As the 2nd half of the season gets underway @sjs has a 9 point lead at the top from @htm_1968 who is 5.5 points ahead of @murrayjohnson in 3rd. At the foot, @unclepuncle is 11.5 points behind @Pan, who is 6 points behind @malbec

After a very frantic Christmas period of matches, there is a much more leisurely approach to January. The next match is Chelsea v Fulham on 13th January, the first of 10 games played over a 9 day period

After a very long drawn out double weekend to enable teams to have a 10 to 12 days winter break (apart from those in FA Cup replays… obvs) Round 21 victory was taken by @stu with 14.5 points from @murrayjohnson with 12 points. Wooden spoon collected by @malbec on 4 points from @Ijrussell on 5 points.

Overall this has led to no movement on the board. @sjs remains top 9 points ahead of @htm_1968. @unclepuncle remains bottom some 12.5 points below @Pan

FA Cup Round 4 this weekend, so EPL Round 22 is a quick midweek dash next Tues to Thursday, ahead of Round 23 the following weekend.
