Actual photography

Went about another km along to the right and there were a couple of guys skating on the sea, practising hockey passes to each other - very Canadian!

Lastly, this is a bridge that crosses a small river as it joins the bay. This carries the main coast road, with artics and all using it - just hope there’s something a bit more substantial behind that weathered timber!!

Fantastic scenery. Looks a lovely place to live.

It’s really beautiful, and not crowded (about the size of England, with a population of about 950k). Feels like living in a holiday destination sometimes

We were one of three cars stopped when the buffalo was attacked. 30 minutes later it was like this.

So did the buffalo

Our guide reported that it had managed to stay on its feet until at least the night, with the lions nibbling bits out of its bum. It was a bit eaten by morning.
