Good work: looks like a Cornish-pasty made out of fingernails is having a shit near some strawberries :ok_hand:

Amazingly that was just the effect I was looking for!

Went for a bit of an epic 90 miler on the bike today - ended up a cracking day although a bit tired now :grinning:

Cheers Gareth.

It’s the furthest I’ve done in well over two years so enjoyed it and the plus side was my back felt ok which was something I was worried about :+1:

There must have been a fair bit of climbing over that distance!

Not too bad Rick was around 3,700 ft give or take - the worst bit was when we started back home the last 25 miles was into a headwind which was hard going.

I hate head winds, it’s the one thing guaranteed to get me swearing at the weather!

Same here - there were a few choice words on the way home :grinning:

We’ll done Al looks lovely
must get out again, pathetic excuse of bad shoulder not washing anymore.

Better safe than sorry Ben.

I’ve been careful to slowly build my fitness this time as I really don’t want a repeat of my back problems from last summer.

Looks gorgeous ! It’s been mostly miserable down here. Know what you mean about the winds though … worse than rain.

It was cold until the sun finally made an appearance at Greenock. But by the time we crossed over to the island of Millport (where all the photos were taken) it was lovely but that last 25 miles into a headwind was tiring.
