All the Football (Part 2)

Oh joy, the game I want to watch tonight is on Prime :poop:

I’m going to have to endure Mr Personality droning on, and on, and on…

Who he?

Monotone torture

Could have been Danny Misery

Don’t think you can have them on at the same time. The light glinting off those heads in crisp 4K HDR would overload most TVs.

'kinell, Isak has found his way into the Lfc travelling squad, he’s had more sicknotes than games, claims he’s not popular with the other players because they don’t play to his perceived strengths and basically is showing what a mard arse he is. Prima fucking Donna.

Bit unlucky Liverpool, Van Dijk’s header was so close to his arm it can’t have been intentional but hey, it’s EUEFA, they always give them.

Haven’t been particularly impressed with Inter, just that header otherwise they’ve created very little.

Didn’t realise they had Milan Baros in goal.

Thought he’d retired.

Well their luck has returned because that’s never getting given in the Prem :man_shrugging:

But, again, it’s EUEFA

Deserved lead.

This was the sort of game they’d get a unlucky deflection to go one down and trudge off.

The biggest concern for me was the amount of times Gomez was the man in space, and he’s no TAA on delivery! No real attacking edge or pace of play on the box, though.

You have to say that the winner of the ā€œOperate the VAR system in a Champions League gameā€ competition has enjoyed their big evening out at the San Siro.

I guess if you’re a Red that was a half decent showing. As a neutral the game was poor entertainment.

Played with ten men until sick note was substituted, Konate was unlucky with his disallowed goal and Wirtz incredibly lucky with his contrived penalty. The rest of the team played well and contained Inter largely, but Liverpools forward line is woeful. I haven’t felt this disappointed in our attack for a long time. Sick note, if the ball doesn’t come to you, chase the bloody thing down instead of being three paces from it. Rant over.

Salah’s back with a glint in his eye, perhaps the clear the air talk acheived something. Sick note continues to disappoint though, have we signed another Ballotelli ?

I watched the game and I think I’d be more concerned about your defence, the fact that they didn’t concede was more down to some poor finishing from Brighton than anything else.

Very true, Kerkez and Konate remain a work in progress and Vvd is not the player he was, although still effective.

Just found out that one of my favourite players - Gary Rowell - has passed away at the age of 68

I was at Sid James Park when he slotted in this penalty for his hat-trick in the 1-4 derby win

Genuinely upset at this news  Hopefully the team will put on a performance for him tomorrow.
