All the Football (Part 2)

Actually doesn’t surprise me, the EFL are pretty punchy when it comes to punishments.

If they were doing Man City they’d probably be sent to a penal colony on the (blue) moon.

I think a whistleblower might have added some dirt that upped the anti. Multiple breaches.
And probably the fact that the coaching team up to manager couldn’t deny they were involved.
At a guess.

It’s the right way to sort out the issue for the future, but one of the two teams in the final has just had to change focus (a bit unfair).

Massive news though.

Southampton admitted breaches of Regulations requiring Clubs to act with the utmost good faith and prohibiting the observation of another Club’s training session within 72 hours of a scheduled match. The admitted breaches concern fixtures against Oxford United in December 2025, Ipswich Town in April 2026 and Middlesbrough in May 2026.
Southampton has a right to appeal the Commission’s decision in accordance with EFL Regulations and the parties are working to try and resolve any appeal on Wednesday 20 May. Subject to the outcome, it could result in a further change to Saturday’s fixture.

Hilarious that a scrote stood behind a tree has possibly cost them north of £120m

The fans will be seething. A points dedication too!
It’s hard on the supporters, and I wonder if the management team can ever show their face again.
Some tasty fixtures next year as a result…

Anyone from the club that was involved in it should (and probably will) be dismissed.

I’ve no love whatsoever for the smoggies but I think it’s the right decision, a fine would mean nothing if Soton won promotion.

Struggle to understand what they hoped to have gained by it other than potentially finding out who the penalty takers might be.

Can’t imagine any would want to go,but what happens if thousands of Southampton fans who have booked hotels and bought tickets turn up at Wembley

Maybe their corrupt, shitty management, owners should recompense them :man_shrugging:

Wasn’t a scrote. He was an employee. Fuck em

Er, yeah. I know.

Not enough to actually win any of the matches they were had up for. They can’t even cheat well.

Man City just done LFC a favour!

Still wouldn’t put it past us to lose a +6 goal difference. Might get an Erling Haaland poster.

Well done Arsenal.

I think it would have been arse weepingly nervous this weekend if that hadn’t have happened.

I’m just hoping Chavski can hold and keep Spuds in the mix, too.

Glimmer of hope for you @Wayward ?

Just popped Talk Sport Youtube on… By chance, as it went in.

Hilarious.
