Irrespective of the number of rashers I have chronic acid reflux again so looks like no more bacon for me for the foreseeable.
The tomato ketchup may be a culprit too.
Back to some sort of Chinese chicken dish tomorrow as I was fine after the Sunday and Monday meals.
Never been on it.
Only thing I take for it is Gavisccon tablets or liquid
I will discuss the acid reflux at my 4 weekly consultant meeting next Friday.
I don’t really want to be on even more medication.
In the meantime just need to be careful what I eat.
I’ve been on Omeprazole for longer than I can remember. One small tablet a day takes care of the really bad acid reflux. You can buy it over the counter now, but probably best to discuss it with your consultant first.
Omeprazole was a real game changer for me. One capsule a day, and I never have acid reflux. It has no side effects that I know of, and taking it with other medication, has never been a problem.
It’s good stuff, but definitely doing it with someone who can check for interactions with other meds you are on, which in your case yes probably means a GP won’t know as chemo drugs are so niche to other areas of medicine.
This one is simple; two onions; a fucktonne of garlic; four eggs; smoked Haddock and smoked Mackerel; 11 Cardamom pods; 11 Cloves and an optional Cinnamon stick.
