Baked smoked haddock fillets, baked in tinfoil parcels, dotted with Herby garlic butter, seasoned with cracked black :black_cat: pepper ‘n herbs, drizzled wiv lemon juice & topped with a slice of lemon.

Served with black pudding, baby spuds tossed in remaining herby garlic butter with parsley & chives + caramelized Chantenay carrots with Rosemary & a balsamic glaze.

First time I’ve served black pudding with fish fillets, tho had wiv scallops many times. Works really well vurry flavoursome! :face_savoring_food:

Looks tasty but roast dinner serving is tight arse, more gravy than food.

While we’re at it, hot and cold fish plate??

Would still eat both plates though, one starter and one main..ish.

Shepherds Pie just out of the oven, waiting for the beans and broccoli to steam.

Two bottles of Pinot Grigio down we would have eaten the crutch out of a low flying duck. Fish was epic. I don’t eat much so it was ideal. My wife is still carrying on about the apple crumble she had for dessert. It was epic. Tremendous pub.

It does look tasty, but I’m a greedy fat arse. :grinning:

What was the name of the brown sauce mentioned previously? Stone’s?
