Slow cooked Venison by Donna, not sure what everyone else is having

Last day up on these northern isles so a favourite, Cullen skink, in the UHI’s Scalloway campus (School of Fish?) restaurant.
Roasted vegetable lasagne. In pub style it was served with chips, and the starter was spicy beer battered haloumi which everyone always asks me to make, dunno why I bothered with the lasagne as they’d have been happy if I just stood by the pan of hot oil and just kept churning out battered haloumi and onion rings.
Ha. I know that feeling

Riya’s garlic 'n coriander naan. Bed of finely shredded tenderheart & red cabbage + Romaine lettuce, freshly made raita. Pork shoulder & red onion kebabs in a smokey & spicy BBQ sauce, vine ripened tomatoes & pickled cayenne peppers.
The chips and the bun look decent.
