Another 10,000 posts of your dinner (Part 2)

Had a couple of cracks at this meself t’ last couple of nights Stu. A real winner I reckon, last night I also added Ricotta cheese, but on balance I found tonight’s without even better.

I also added a baby sweet yellow pepper & some halved green olives to t’ ingredients bill & some Ancho & Chipotle chilli flakes in addition to the fresh red chilli & sliced garlic.

Prolly comes in around £1-50 a portion even using posh spaghetti as the tinned anchovies in olive :olive: oil are only 84p a tin.

Under 10 mins start to finish & so simple to get a really nice emulsified sauce.

Glad you found the vid useful; good that this is such an inexpensive and cheap meal too, isn’t it!

A real winner. I’m gonna try the modifications you made to it as well.

It is also good with green chilli peppers. That’s all the local shop had the other week! :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Yep, it was Monday and the place was very busy, which made it a bit noisy.

That was the only minor negative tho, the food was delicious, the service excellent, and the bonus was that it was not expensive, so they deserve every success…:+1:

Got this really dialled in now.

Also realised I’ve used bucatini so far & not spaghetti.

I’ve upped the baby pepper count & used one red + 2 yellow cut into approx 2cm batons + a large green chilli given the same treatment. Rest of ingredients bill is 50g tin of anchovies in olive oil & halved Queen olives + 3 sliced garlic cloves a teaspoon of red pesto & Ancho + Chipotle chilli flakes & black pepper + three ladles of pasta water to get the final rich emulsified sauce.

Absolutely delicious & very speedy comfort food suitable for all year round!
