LOL . . .
Time-travellers/immortals #457: Ryan Reynolds on the right
Wilko, Charley Charles and Ian Dury.
Crystal Palace bowl 1981.
Photo nicked from “Graham” on Twitter.
edit: and I’ve just noticed that Graham credits Pete Still with the photo.

and me and the three sisters met up at Battersea power station last night.
Planners, architects and urbanists may hate it but bloody hell was it busy.
Anyway, me and sisters 1 and 2 went for the tube and sister 3 sent this picture from the bus stop.
Wot no pig?
Time to wheel out this old chestnut.
The 80s have a lot to answer for.
Very tellingly it’s accompanied by a June 1987 zones 1 and 2 tube pass. Shortly after that I failed everything, got kicked out and didn’t return until 2005.
I was at Leicester Poly. I left summer of 1986.
I saw some good bands in Leicester.
Attitude a gogo.
I dropped out 3 months after getting that union card, it seemed that I wasn’t a very good science student.
I too saw some fantastic gigs, the Student Union was a great venue.
I have a mountain of these.
Given the hairline in 1987
I have no idea when “cheeky chappie”
or “going to knife you for your Rolex”
were taken.
Also for the watch nerds
ended up in an absurd barn of a suite in the Hôtel du Rhône.
I definitely wasn’t who they thought I was.
And Dodgy Dave had a major breakdown. First and hopefully last time I’ve been present for someone having that kind of crisis.
Seem to be a dude with history.
T’is a fine mullet.

My first hit ‘Rock on’
The early version. I saw them with Tommy then (a year later?) Marky on drums. Great live either way.
