A much maligned car it may be, but on the way back from the pub last night, I found this angle rather beautiful…

Posting this, not because of any artistic merit, but because of the implied tale it tells.

Titled “Railway Orphans tea party at Brothertoft Road, Boston. Pre 1920” and comes from local press archives.

FWIW, to me it looks pretty much ca. 1920, and if so bespeaks both the dangers of railway work pre H&S, and of course the slaughter of WW1.
