It looks like Skelmersdale with integral garages…

Yap. 3 is Dulwich College and 4 is the one really to aspire to (after remedial work, apparently they were really shonkily built to begin with).

No idea on 1.

Top tip: Stick with what you have :grinning:

Anywhere that happily adopts ‘Skem’ as it’s nickname is broken

Top one looks like a Quad 405.

Carry on from the dance academy.
Plymouth must of been stunning 100 years ago.
The city planners/councillors are nuts having properties like this, and just letting them crumble.

There was a really good ‘40 Minutes’ documentary about Union St made in 1985. I remember watching it but I don’t think it was ever shown again. Would love to see it though. Some mad characters & places as I recall.

That’s beautiful and really inspiring!

Doing from local earth is an interesting and I think quite significant improvement to the concept of 3D building houses. Really like that. It’s also good to see them putting some real effort into some aesthetics to go alongside the environmental and technological considerations.

I absolutely love the aesthetic of it. Gorgeous blend of organic and minimalist/futuristic. I’d love to live in a house like that.

I love this house, a double garage to boot too, I love the Triumph 2500 as well!

Sunny Stret used to be exceedingly iffy when my mate lived there in the 80s, but it’s obviously been gentrified since then.

Fantastic but have to wonder how weather proof it would be. Would it still be standing after 10 years of British winters ?

Yes, it doesn’t go into too much detail on this, I do wonder precisely what the printing material actually is. It mentions clay and that nothing else needs bringing to the site but I wonder if any test have been done on durability in different conditions over time.

Agree re. aesthetics, I have read a few articles on 3d printed homes now and I like these in terms of design.

I really like the look of this house.

Well my parents owned a house made from cob (earth and straw) that had lasted from the 15th century, so possibly it’d be fine.

(not the one we are pondering) but interesting nevertheless
