Wasn’t the Tricorn building voted ugliest in the U.K?
Locally it was hated.

I remember it from the 80’s it was damp, dark and just depressing inside. Once you got close to the outside it was mouldy, water and limescale stained and just fucking ugly. The whole area was a shit hole and for the tricorn to be worse than its surroundings was quite an achievement.

Hopefully the bridge can be disconnected and the legs can collapse for when you reach a certain age and your knees start rebelling!

The scaffolding just came off this enormous old folks home that has been erected near me. It looks like somoene has cocked up with those double doors, one floor up with no access.

They probably didn’t fancy threading the steel staircase through the scaffolding :roll_eyes:

Aye, probably quite difficult to install a fire escape when there’s a scaffold tower occupying the exact same space.
