I saw that Frank Lloyd Wrightâs RaywardâShepherd House is up for $6m - so about ÂŁ4.7m⌠Almost half the price and about 100x better.

Ten apartments at a couple of mil each and youâve doubled your money⌠Donât imagine the neighbours will be too happy but they would be getting rid of that eyesore in the process.
Not sure it is an eyesore, but it is just reminiscent of many a standard detached house of 20 years subsequent so without posts like that it would be sort of anonymous.
I like it, but I donât eight million pounds like it.

Yep, if modern is your thing (yes from me) itâs a beauty, and as the ad points out itâs untouched. Iâd have it just for that staircase.

As a kid I recall several holiday lets we stayed in that had those interiors.
Looks like an unpleasant scar on the landscape.
Would be considerably more than ÂŁ8m if it was in Chelsea rather than Whaley Bridge.

Re The Line.
I shouldnât be offended. Britain, Europe and America were no better back in the days post industrial revolution. But seeing various gulf states splurge money on vanity projects (and sport washing) using wealth & profit derived from the fuel many of us are obliged to buy and burn knowing full well itâs fucking the planet sticks in the throat a bit.
