I wish the news media would make their mind up about who is standing and who is running for office.
I remember my A Level politics lecturer telling us that in America they run for election, in Britain we stand.

Can you imagine the thought processes he & his circle of supporters went through to conclude that appearing to do parkour as a hobby would give him the edge over his rivals?
