Armchair politics

Not too good so far.

I wonder if Johnson will get a 9 minute grilling on Islamophobia in the Conservative Party?

Followed by ‘how much child support do you pay Mr Johnson’ and ‘How much public money is it ok to ‘spaff’ so you can get your end away with a Yank chancer’ (being that Johnson is a Yank chancer himself)?

Whenever Jeremy Corbyn’s getting a fucking pasting over something, this “I wonder if Johnson will blah bah” scenario plays out every fucking time. This whataboutery really has to stop.

When Boris Johnson was getting his fat arse handed to him by Eddie Mair, nobody was thinking "I wonder if Jeremy Corbyn will get a grilling on such and such.

Stop asking Jeremy difficult questions, he’s a nice aul’ fella with a beard.

That smile from Corbyn at the end

That was gruesome.:cold_sweat:

That isn’t the point.
Labour have an awful record on Anti-Semetic behaviour among it’s membership and were called out by the Chief Rabbi. Corbyn absolutely had to answer questions.

Today The Muslim Society of Britain called out the Conservative Party and accused them of 'denial dismissal and deceit" over the issue of Islamophobia.
I had a look to see when Johnson was on with Neil and there is no gurantee he will even do it

Corbyn is trailing. He needs to do these things and hope he has a positive impact. Boris will shut his gob, kiss babies, gurn next of sundry farm animals, avoid any gaffes and win by the looks of it.

You’re missing the point. It’s like a Pavlovian reaction amongst Corbyn supporters.

I thought he did ok but then I’m inclined towards the same view points & positions. Our foreign policies for example have been an unmitigated disaster for my whole life. It needs to be approached in a different way.

only just started watching and so far Corbyn is being a twat and avoiding answering every question

I’m tired of the whole Labour “antisemitism” thing.
Tired of Labour failing to deal with it competently: neither properly chastening racists, nor arguing its case effectively.
Tired of the “sympathising with our victims means you’re our enemy” stance of the State of Israel.
Tired of the word: racism is racism, not this paradoxical concept of a unique word delimiting racism against just one chosen race.
Tired of the unbalanced emphasis given to it by BBC and [other] pro-Right media.
Tired of the interference by religious leaders in secular democracy.
Tired of today’s unceasing repetition of the pronunciation of Chief Rabbi Mirvis.
Why would he do this…? Now…? Sure, Labour are incompetent dicks - with a few real morons, but we’ll not be seeing Pogroms any time soon . . . or distant . . . or ever…

Oh…

That’s the depressing truth at the core of all this wheen of blethers: none of this shower of shites is fit to be used as a draught excluder in a Victorian child brothel, much less lead the fucking cuntry.

I’d enjoy it if someone used the half hour cross examining Brillo on the content of The Spectator & particularly some of it’s more racist contributors before moving onto his general Murdochian world view & the shit that’s given us for the past 50 years.

They should all fuck off and let Margaret Beckett run the country for a bit. On her own. No shit ministers or anything.
