The theory doing the rounds is that Williamson is being left in place so he can carry the can when the schools re-opening proves to be a dangerous failure, ie transmission goes up & they have to close again. (As has happened in other countries). They’d rather not burn a new education secretary on that when there’s a ready made scapegoat already in place.
Has grayling been education minister yet? What the fuck are they saving for him?
