Gotta chew :cowboy_hat_face:

'zackly. Lovely !

Don’t mess about.

Launched in 1970 I think. You can get some sort of modern ‘tribute’ version.

I realise that your dementia & memory problems set in early but I do recall you telling me the real reason you didn’t eat chewy sweets in the 60’s was that you were already losing teeth at an alarming rate. I thought it’d been Werthers ever since, or had you forgotten?

I was wondering if the elder statesmen of Devon could tell me what was the best sweet treat during rationing?

As a child, I used to LOVE Caramac.

Wouldn’t want to try one now, I imagine it would be very disappointing.

The first image I put up suggested Nestle made it but it was just a brand name they acquired. The Mac was Mackintosh.

I would kill for some Old Jamaica

Caramac is still GOOOOD !

Couldn’t stand the stuff.

I can drink Rum until it comes out of my ears, but hate ‘rum flavoured’ anything. Ice cream, chocolate etc. I detest ALL forms of liqueurs. All of them.

I also like bananas, but hate ‘banana flavoured’ anything.

Ironically, I hate coffee, yet I love coffee ice cream, chocolates, cake etc.

Ok, I’m weird, but I already know that.

Fry’s 5 centre was truly scrumptious as was the Chocolate cream.

I shall close the thread shortly :sunglasses:
