We (the wider public, not this particular conclave of arseholes) have a compartmentalisation process that allows us to continue to use the output of questionable people if they’re dead. It’s particularly handy in the case of musicians as being a wrong 'un is no impediment to catchy tunes.

Had a scan through the whole top 100 (so far) list and it’s really good. You could argue all day about relative positions, but taken as a whole there’s some sublime stuff in there.
