Ford UK predicting today that hard Brexit would cost them over £600 million in the first year, which would make their UK business loss-making. Cheaper for them just to close it and make the vehicles elsewhere.

Pleased to see on tonight’s local news that Numatic (makers of the Henry) have announced a significant expansion at their facility in Chard and are also creating several hundred new jobs. Good on them. FoL#2 who’s temporarily working at a local recycling centre says they get a couple of Dysons in every day but hardly ever a Henry.
Never owned a Dyson product (as they are mostly shite) and probably never will now.
We’ve got 2 Dyson hoovers - one at home and one in the caravan - and both have been fine. Both British built though. Would go for a Henry now though.
we have three. all have been fine. One lives kn the garage having been battered by me and using it for DIY, brick dust etc…its about 10 years old. We have newer one about 4 years old and has been fine a reliable. The newest is a handheld cordless and that’s been fine…
