I have said that given May was/is going to get a fucking hiding from everyone tomorrow his job was (i) to represent us and (ii) not to deflect from May getting a hiding. Clearly he has failed on (i) and made a complete fool of himself while fucking upon (ii).

They will if the 1922 get the hump much further, as they’re livid now. This will kill the Tories in the medium term as they’ve effectively burned through the credibility of many of their upcoming politicians (dark clouds and silver linings I suppose).
The problem they have is they supported it & in many cases wanted a more brutal, scorched earth ERG style approach, although the Mail has amusingly softened since Geordie Gregg took over. The Mail’s readers don’t have a clue what’s going on now. they’re accusing the paper of being traitorous and an enemy of the people.
