Can offer buttered muffin and VG condition 80’s record for Dali mug

Definitely a two-tier mug schwag system in operation there :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Although I’ll still claim that my IWC Yeti mug is the premiumest freebie.

Unfortunately it’s 24oz (or something) Giant Texan Coffee size so I don’t actually use it.

Some kind of Rega branded sweet getting rained on.

Ohh not sure if condom or toilet sweet? Nice!

By the way, for anyone visiting from Wigwam or elsewhere looking for a show report, this is it. Pens and bags to follow.

Fuck, didn’t realise you were there, buggered off now.

Bollocks. I need a Dali mug

Dali freebies are upper tier, had a compilation CD from them back when Heathrow was a thing, and it actually had decent music on it!

Guy was as ever polite, I would have gone for the full dinner set.

I think I have a couple of those CDs.
Here is the 1st one.

Currently £150 on eBay.

Yes I’ve got that one too. It’s nice but the mug’s nicer.

Hifi dealers giving away mugs is top trolling

The pen collection.

Quite like the English Acoustics wooden one.

And Tote bags.

Here, the Orange amplification offering is a clear winner.

Ok, that’s probably enough HiFi Show Stationary* coverage unless anyone else picked up anything nice.

What’s the back story to the Orange amplifiers bag? I thought they were guitar amps.
Is there a commercial link with a hifi company perhaps?

Marshall style marketing/badge engineering ?

They seemed to have taken a room to push their re-launched £850 valve tester. While it might be a handy item for a guitarist with a practice amp, when I questioned them about it, it didn’t seem so useful for someone like me who wants to be able to take a box of 100 output valves & match pairs of them for gain & current draw.

So they gave you a bag to piss off and stop asking awkward questions?

Furious.

It would appear factoring in Mugs etc that not only was there more ‘essentials’ on offer but the overall quality was up. Why no Audio Technica note pads?

I was more disappointed that Chord weren’t offering any of their high quality T shirts this time. They’ve been good enough previously to make me put up with having a garment with the word MoJo embroidered on it but no sign of any such premium grade leisure wear this time around. Times must be hard.

Very jealous of the the Rega bag, I covet that.
