I’m with nutshell, it was ridiculously cheap. Underwriter for me is Tradex Insurance company Ltd. No idea if they are good or bad. As my car is fully paid off and worth the square root of fuck all in the grand scheme of things (debts, miles, etc) it’s more about the legal bit of paper for me.
Fully comp with 3k miles, rac breakdown, all the legal bollocks £300 on a 10 year old E350d
Nearest other quote was almost double that and renewal was silly money as I’d been with them for a few years so they wanted to pass the buck.
Ive not claimed so can’t give any insights there but they seem ok for an insurance company.
Edited to add. Most of the poor reviews seem to be people moaning about admin charges for their own fuck ups. ‘I gave them the wrong address and they charged me £25 to change it. 1 star - A.Fuckwit -Bolton’ kind of bollocks.
