Agreed but not as bad as the parting of the Red Sea style of spectators in the group B era.
Another nutter was Simon McKinley but also a stunning driver in rallying and hill climbing.
Only just found out that he fatally crashed 5 years ago in a climb.

The Alfa is quite pretty on the outside. The inside I have issues with. Not really to my taste tbh.
Recently saw a telly program on Quest were they electrify classic cars. I think I shall have a daydream about electrifying our Alfa.
