Slim pickings this year mainly because I asked for cash for a new telly for my listening room (suppose it’s an AV room really).
Some Pringle socks from the in laws, which I suspect my FiL got on special offer from his golf club pro shop.
Some Versace eau de cologne , a Where’s Trump book (like Where’s Wally, but with the 45th President of The United States of America, includes porn stars and wigs) and a nice shirt from Claire.
A festive polo shirt from Lauren, which I was forced to wear all day.
Ellie framed some of her photos for everyone this year. I got one of a sculpture of an astronaut balancing on a dining chair whilst also balancing a vase of flowers on their foot.
No records, incomplete bits of HiFi or alcohol. 
But £500 towards a telly

Biggest I can go is 60” to fit on the chimney breast (no overlap allowed) but they’re few and far between, so a 55 is probably more realistic. Hisense? Seriously never heard of them before a week ago, they’re all over richer sounds and Amazon. Any good?

Opened my present with a giddy sense of expectation and got:
It’s beautifully screwed together with the worst wood ever. Courtesy of my brothers woodwork department at his school. My hands turned black on the dirty timber.
I saw the music box logo as i unwrapped it and thought genuinely someone has seriously messed up the “oak” bit!

Proper wind up. It’s made with real detail and apparently took a bit of effort. The wood is what your average fruit pallet comes in but thicker.
Weighs as much as the real one (which was thankfully forthcoming)
