@Kevin i guess your explorer is still worth what you paid for it? Give or take?
More, could probably sell for 115% - 120% what I paid for it
The Sub a lot more
Yes, but standard subs, GMT-Masters and especially Daytonas are a better bet if you can find any.
Waiting for this to come from Holland, a Seiko 6m26-8050
Not old or expensive but I am amazed at what it can do with 3 hands. Timer, Alarm, Stopwatch, Date including month.
I would be interested to know how tbat works out with Shipping VAT etc post Brexit

Hamilton’s concept watch for 2001: A Space Odyssey - seemingly Kubrick demanded it was a working watch
They also did some regular production “space age” stuff.
The Ventura made famous by Elvis . . .
The Pulsar Time Computer . . .
The Pulsar went for the price of a new car when released in the early 70s. I’d like to buy one, but most of the vintage ones I see are pretty rough looking
They actually did a solid 18K gold version of the first version which was more than many people’s homes! iirc each “chip” had to be hand-etched and assembled and the failure rate was depressingly high.
Oddly, while Hamilton is now Swiss-owned, Pulsar passed to the company that effectively killed them off - Seiko, so when Swatch Group reissued a modern homage, it’s had to be Hamilton branded:
Battery lasts a LOT longer in the modern version!
Powermatic 80 version of the tissot PRX?
My kex are now sticky.
Ok paid duty yesterday,

Import VAT £61.50
Clearance Fee £5.00
More lines than a delinquent pupil at a posh boarding school…
And just in case you’re wondering what to do with that spare £700,000 burning a hole in your pocket - Greubel-Forsey has a new version of their quad-tourbillion GMT which I luuuuuurvvvve!
Pleb!
Great they have developed a new calibre, but $6000?
