I’m not 100% convinced that’s an orig plug
It’s likely cheaper to pick one of these

He needs to 3d print a dustpan and bulldozer for you first.

Ay up all
As you all know I do quite a bit of CNC stuff
I have recently acquired a large format CNC that will cut 8x4 sheets. I’m still in the learning phase but it looks interesting. Defo going to try a speaker build.
There are a couple of 3d print open source parts that help with using it. Such as belt anchors and dust collection head to fit a vacuum.
I don’t have a 3d printer could any of you with a printer be kind enough to make these parts up for me. I have the files from the website just need em printing.
Cheers
Tim
Sorry Tim missed this request - Yes I can help. Do you have a link to the parts ?
Need a wall mount for my unifi gateway and found 3D print plans for some mounting brackets.
So I bought this

Time for a bath?
That’s not for another month yet, bit gutted they didn’t have a duck in the demos.
Gosh. A Tugboat that looks like it’s made from actual Tug…
Ever since I acquired the Goto horns, the cradles the midrange units sit on have always been a bit unsatisfactory, simply because the semi-circular cradle is parallel sided and the horn throats that sit on them have a gentle taper. Over the 75mm length of the cradle the diameter of the horn increases by 12mm.
Andy @Adpully very kindly CADed and printed a pair of shims/cradle liners (the white bits in the pics) which we fitted earlier today. Although they look simple, these were quite complex items with the tapering internal semi-circular profile.
This has been a great success - not only are the horns far more stable in the brackets but the midrange sq has also noticeably improved with a sharpening of resolution and instrument placement.
So, a big shout out for Andy P. Cheers mate! ![]()
Could have done this with Bitumen for added Japanman authenticity!
Haha, we did manage to transfer some bitumen residue onto them during the fitting (that’s why they look a bit grubby) so that will have to do! ![]()
I’ll have to get him to do something similar for me or at least better cradles for the drivers.
While I’d never noticed, I’m genuinely surprised there’s never been any sort of decoupling interface in this position.
11/10 to Andy for minding the gap ![]()
