That model is 2560x1440 / QHD.
Not saying it’s bad or anything, but just not 4k.
The 4k version of that model mentioned in the review is closer to £1k.

I think I see the reason for the confusion. The link I had, goes to a different monitor on Ebuyer.
The model we are both talking about is the ACER PREDATOR XB273K.
Yes, if you search that model, it seems to be about a grand now.
The cheapest I found is the XB273KGP variant which is £686. Other versions are cheaper but not 4k.
I don’t see the advantage of high refresh, and very little will be running at 4k even on a series X, so I wouldn’t worry about either much. Just make sure the xbox will run it natively, you might have to check that for QHD.
Freesync or Gsync is worth having, I think the series X supports both.

Thanks. Sounds like the model you linked to won’t do 4k and 120hz for the Xbox as it has HDMI 2.0 not 2.1.
I don’t have the space for a TV at the moment though that may change next year. Perhaps in the meantime I’ll stick with my current basic monitor and then upgrade to a TV or better monitor next year when the price for the tech has hopefully come down.
Just get a 4k 60hz screen then. I really don’t see the advantage of the 120hz on my PC.
