Computer games and that

Lol, it’s not exactly cheap to start if you want anything over the basic aircraft.

IL2 is much better value, really.

Nothing says anonymous Euromillions winner more than this.

Haha, yeah, prices are batshit insane. I did manage to get it for RRP. :slightly_smiling_face:

Now the take over is off, no chance of a discount then? :grinning:

Finally got a PS5 version of cyberpunk.
Bad news is it’s a total new download (the PS4 disk is. It much more than an E token to get it).

I’ve had the game in a drawer for a year waiting for this! 60fs or 30 and Ray tracing…

There seems to be a free limited trial to invigorate interest also

That’s not too bad
The loading times are horrendous however

They weren’t that bad to be honest, not as great as the carts but nothing worse than most Xbox games these days.

The pads were awesome.

Yeah, I’ve got one here still. Doesn’t get much use

Nope, mine moved on once I had the arcade cab. But it was a great way to get into it at the time, much cheaper games.

I just remember thinking of them like some far off holy grail of gaming whilst I played my stretched screen UK SNES. Loved gaming in those days, the equivalent of the 60’s to the music industry. I find most of todays gaming as bland as Ed Sheeran and Adele. Technically excellent but dull.

Rose-tinted specs maybe.

Yeah. The old games might have seemed good at the time, but they would have just 3-4 levels and be absolutely punishing if you jumped from the wrong pixel. Fuck that!

Not really how I would describe Neo Geo games.

I know people with complete JP collections, around 148 carts

Metal slug JP is about £15k if you can find one

US version - £30k+

LOL, last computer game I played was Elite on the BBC micro, with a green-screen monitor.
