Yep, and it was half-price…

New thing. £80. Needs some more brake fluid at the back and a new inner tube.
Given it a clean and tweaked the gears.

Will be doing a bit of pootling about the New Forest in the summer and it fits the bill. Just got to get another for the wifey. Or she can have this and I will get another.

Like the idea of discs after struggling to stop on some downhills on the road bike. Fiddly fucking fuckers and more expensive mind. But fuck it.

Bit warm and sweary/sweaty now. Sorry.

Lovely! Is it a Cotic? I had one of their Soda frames.

I am sure you know not to leave it locked up anywhere outside in Bristol…

Yes, Cotic BFEmax. It wont be leaving my sight out of the house

Just removed this* from the tyre of my commuting bike.

  • non zero chance of being swarf from drilling out a Modushop panel…

Bought another bike. Like this one. Wifey will probably decide she likes it more though.

Sort of went and bought another bike. We both quite liked the Voodoo 29er over the Boardman.

So I now have a Cannondale Trail 1. Will finish servicing the Boardman and sell it.

Cannondale

To say I now have the Trail is a bit wrong. I bought it, but it is now not mine. I seem to have the Voodoo.
Wifey needs the saddle raised an inch or so and moved forward a tiny bit over how I would have it. So almost interchangeable with a quick release on the seat post.

Now to do some off-road pootling.

Might sell the Colnago soon. Makes me very sad that. It is very pretty.

Just been watching a bit of the cycling.

Looked quite difficult. Can’t see anybody beating Pogacar (barring large problems).

Finally got round to taking a pic of my new ride as promised up thread.

That’s a beautiful frame :+1:. Needs more Campagnolo though

I like disc brakes, but road bikes look so much better without them

Possibly the Gendarmerie. I’ve been following cycling for nearly 30 years and when it looks too good to be true it usually is.
