Little bit of the 3 shires way on the new bikes. Missed a bridleway sign on the way back so that bit was on the road.
Bloody loved the off road bit. Lovely views and very peaceful.
Think one of the road bikes is going on eBay.
Back in the day racing I had an EPC with campag Record and an EPS with SRAM Red but this DA is better than both.
Looks and tradition would say campag but this is what it came with and I won’t be changing it anytime soon as it is the best shifting I have used.

Discs just go noisy at some point I have found. On an MTB the noise of discs gets drowned out but road bikes are so quiet it just really irritates.
I agree, when he can sprint to win a stage the way he did a few days ago, then perform like that on the climbs as well as time trial as well as he does it looks very suspicious.
The last person to be that dominant was LA, and look how that worked out!

That’s one of the best stages I’ve ever seen in the TdF absolutely incredible racing from every rider and Alpe d’Huez tomorrow

Given they’ve estimated that there’s been upwards of 1,000,000 spectators on Alpe d’Huez previously it is going to be absolutely insane tomorrow - I cannot wait.

I love the fact these guys just get involved in full on-racing every time - if they blow then that’s just part of the game. Although Jumbo Visma did have a tactical plan today it could just as easily have went tits up brilliant stuff.
Comparing the racing this year alone to the era of the stifling domination by Team Sky is remarkable - long may it continue.
