Brown. Brown’s where it’s at. Or Tiger stripe, Tiger stripe would work.

Yeah you know me so well! There’s a specific pale orange I think works well on industrial style pieces, and it is going against the avocado green back wall of my office.

But I think I’ll probably clean it up first, stack some records on it and wait and see how I feel about it.

If the feet / rubber bumpers are removable I’d go with powder coating (It’s a lot more durable than wet paint) I used to have some similar library trolleys for records - They were very handy, I’m envious

Good idea.

I’ll just mention that I picked this up by complete surprise at an antique/ tat shop locally for the sum of £45.

Anyone know of a company that will make wooden blinds wider than 240cm?

Lounge has a 8’ 6" window so finding a blind is a mare.

These people sorted me out with blinds around that size. They are a local Glasgow company. I don’t know if they sell nationally but they may be able to recommend a nationwide manufacturer who could help you out.

Wingspread, also known as the Herbert F. Johnson House, in Wind Point, Wisconsin.

Stunning, what a space! Would love to do a roadtrip/tour at some point in my life of FLW’s buildings.

I feel that I ought to be able to name the house or architect but I’ve got a bit of a thick head this morning.

Needs beige carpet instead of marble

Back in 1972, when my parents were looking to have a house built (the norm in Straya), I tagged along to a viewing of a house with a “split level living space” not unlike that. It also had a floor to ceiling fish talk as a wall between the living room and the office.

I have hankered after a floor to ceiling fish tank ever since.

Plus Terrazzo flooring too

Wonder if the housing association would get stroppy if I put a sunken section in my living room?

Can you get a mini digger through the front door?

Yes quite easily.
Guess I can put a few sheets of ply over it when I move

That’s fucking beautiful! :heart_eyes::star_struck:

It’s the elegance of it that I love.

My Aunt and Uncle had one not unlike that and I’ve loved them ever since they create such a great living space.
