I’m assuming he shows the client the board of weedy caps and beans on toast will soon be on the menu.

The feet look like foo to me.

Please keep your answer VERY simple…

Why do C11 & C12 have 4 pins?

Reasons :grinning:

LOL

What are they doing?

Capacitating.

A 4 terminal Kelvin connection does bring benefits. Clarity caps are available with Kelvin lead outs.

In this case however, I’m not sure that they are connected that way, certainly the data sheet doesn’t mention anything. Possibly it’s just a more robust mounting.

Flux capacitating?

If I was to attach one to each of my children would that reduce their high frequency noise?

Morgan Jones discusses them in his book, and had some made by Ansar

ClarityCap hadn’t heard of them when I approached them, so they made me the first batch of what became the TC4 caps, by taking the TC out of the aluminium can, putting in the acrylic tube from the MR and having 4 leads.

next thing I know they are selling them to HFC

Not really audio but David Lynch so …

I’ve never heard of him but I started watching his videos and I can’t stop! Almost hypnotic.

I want one of his checking sticks :grinning:
