Seems rather reasonable … wonder whether he’s using Baltic!

Is his stuff actually good?

No idea, just the Legend that is Rabs, and his unfinished amps…

The horns looky nice, in a CHONKY way.

We will ever find out?

On the off chance, has anyone got an aikido pcb lying around they want rid of?

Is it this one?

Asking if anyone has one lying around as they have been out of stock for a while now .

Anyone know of a good source for 45 triodes in the UK? tried langrex and watford etc but they don’t have anything in stock.

Ordered some from the US but they look to be lost in transit now

@murrayjohnson @sjs @Valvebloke @coco

Entirely US production, I think, and probably too early to be of military interest. So I suspect no-one will have shipped them into the UK in any sort of quantity back in the day. For what it’s worth there’s a list of sensible equivalents at the top of this page 45 @ The Valve Museum which might help you expand your search a bit.

tried that site for equivs already, yep very little in the UK

Billigton Export had some in their October catalogue, did you already try them?

looks like their site cert expired yesterday…

I have always had to buy them in from the US tbh

+1 - I’ve only ever bought from the US.

they were out of stock in dec but it took them about 2 weeks to reply to my email.

Also tried colomor and CVC so I may just have to order some more from the US :frowning:
