This is a good indication of my life. It was fucking pissing it down this morning and Ziggy still stopped to sniff everything and stare at passing cars/dogs/people who are miles away.
Yeah, that was Maddie.
It wasnât the Everything, so much as the fact that each patch of urine - ancient and modern - needed such a bloody long time spending on it! Just marvellous in the winter rainâŚ
Willow complaining about not going swimming, sheâs a strong swimmer but I didnât rate her chances against flooded river
Ahhhhhhhhhhh.
totally quackers
I should make you pay me a Jim-joke royaltyâŚ
I think C20th xmas cracker gag writers are going to have something to say about that if you doâŚ
Itâs been thoroughly pissing it down all day here, and I now have 4 bloody dogs crossing their legs/ looking for quiet opportunities to go and unburden themselves in the spare roomâŚ
Waiting to go out sniffing
Chortle! Same here - lots of Significant yawning, groaning, stretching and staring going-on in the doggo baskets - gonna bite the bullet and go get soaked/muddyâŚ
Been out twice today with mine. First walk saw lovely sunshine, only to turn into torrential rain and I didnât have my waterproofs on, so got soaked. Second time, I got all togged up with waterproofs & wellies cos it looked like rain. Of course it didnât rain this time.
Sigh.
Looking at the weather time maps, it looks like some entertainingly extreme weather has missed the area around London just perfectly - itâs kinda looped round. After a few showers earlier itâs been lovely here.
Weatherâs really grim here. The dog hates it even more than I do so weâve been out for the bare minimum this afternoon.
Big dogs have now been out for a couple of hours for a bound around the common and local woods, then back across the riverside (which has burst its banks and was tricky to navigate). Fully togged up as it pissed it down. Both the Lab and the hound enjoyed a good rub down when we got back and are now flopped in front of the fire.
Lovely day here, hardly a breath of wind and lots of sunshine.
Homeward bound after our fourth walk of the day.
Patch has worked out how to get through the rear dog guard then sit on my lap
So just found a cage for a couple of quid on gumtree
He is going to hate it
They donât look in any hurry to get back
