Yes. It’s a huge weight off my mind.
Excellent, that must be such a load of your mind.
Great news

Wonderful
Bad news. Buddy’s eye flared up again this morning. Went back to the vet. He’s going to need a procedure. The vet is going to discuss with her colleagues to decide which procedure would be best and whether to do it in house or refer to opthalmology at the small animal hospital. I’m absolutely gutted.
Oh, that’s awful news.
Hopefully they can sort it out once and for all.
It’s really not a bad ulcer. It’s not deep and is only affecting the top layer of the cornea. The problem is that it is not healing. There a few possible procedures that can help it to heal and the vet will let me know which one they are going to go for. No reason to think that it won’t be ok in the long run.
Oh no. Best wishes for whichever procedure they go for.
That a shit result. Fingers crossed it’s a simple enough procedure and he’s back to 100% soon enough.
Bad news but hope the vets come up with something positive.
Hope all goes well, and I’m sure it will.
They are incredibly resilient things, especially spaniels.
If it’s any comfort Paul the Opthalmology dept at the SAH where excellent when we had to take Mischa there for some treatment.
We used to take Barnaby for fly ball training. He loved every minute of it, very fast, never missed a hurdle or ball take up. He didn’t however grasp the concept, on his return run he would turn around and go back to the ball collection board to give the girl behind it a lick and then continue as he should. On average 30 minutes to retrieve the ball from him, affectionately known as the class clown. Now at the age of six he’s realised if he drops the ball it can be thrown for him.
