Nellie update…
Just back from the specialist. They’ll be knocking her out and will then take spinal fluid plus fluid from each joint. She’ll have full blood tests. If all is well she’ll be on steroids for a few months.
Hopefully she’ll be back home Monday

Nellie update…
She came back from the specialist on Sunday feeling a tad tired. Poor thing had been prodded and poked, scanned and injected.
She’s now on a 6 month course of steroids plus monthly blood tests and is already showing massive improvement.
The hefty bill is being disputed by the bastard insurance company who, despite saying they cover £4k per condition per year, have a shit load of caveats - the cunts!
Main thing, though, is she’s back and bouncing again. Still can’t take her out as she’s in season for another 10 days .

Pet Plan, who were great with our Golden Retriever have priced themselves out of contention with our Flat Coat. A great shame as they were efficient and reliable and would now cost more than our house and car insurances combined.

Buddy has been in the wars again. This time he has ripped a nail right off which is causing him a lot of pain. He absolutely hates his boot. Worse, he’s to be kept on the lead for at least a week. Poor Buddy.

Enjoying life a tad too enthusiastically?

He’s just being a springer, doing exactly what he has been bred to do. He has been a bit unlucky recently though.
