Sorry to hear that mark
Beautiful dog and great picture
so sorry to read this, can’t imagine how sad you must be at the moment ![]()
So sorry had to do the same thing, Milly.
So sorry Mark,
That’s very sad to hear.
Best wishes to all.
That’s hellish Mark. So sorry.
Sorry to hear this Mark !it’s so sad when one loses a very dear pet
Buddy had a stroke. He’s had a steroid injection and fluids. Blood tests show there’s no underlying problems.
The prognosis is good. The vet says that he needs to rest for a few days but she is hopeful that he can make a good recovery.
What a fright he gave me. Fingers crossed.
I’m amazed at the speed of Buddy’s recovery. Looking at him this morning, you wouldn’t think he’d been so ill yesterday afternoon.
He’s walking completely normally compared to yesterday when he could barely stand without collapsing at the rear and when he did walk his gait was very disjointed. He’s also stopped twitching, jerking and flinching which is a great relief.
I’m not getting ahead of myself but I am very hopeful that he’ll be alright.
Patch had similar around 3 years ago. Struggled to stand and listless but was fine 24hrs later
Thanks Stu. That’s reassuring.
The pig in the background looks like it’s spotted its chance …
Murphy’s 10th birthday today so while I’ve been at work Mrs P has been to the pet shop and let him choose a couple of treats ! ![]()
That’s their last walk for the day over. If they want to go out again, it will be without me, they can go on their own!
