My daughters Bernese, Herbies equivalent of sunbathing. Couldn’t get the bugger indoors all day.

It is now 00.30hrs and soft lad is still refusing to come indoors, getting hold of his collar results in him rolling onto his back. Biscuits, sausage, chicken and cheese have no effect, stern words, kind words get the two fingered paw. This could be a long night, stubborn fucker.

Try bacon?

I’d cook the fecker a full english if it would get him in. He’s 8 stone+ slippery as an eel and a mouth full of teeth wider than the Thames estuary. Not a bit of harm in him thankfully.

No help, I know, but bear in mind the environment he’s bred for - this is probably the only time in any given year that poor bugger’s at what - for him - is a comfortable temperature…

Our Max loves the cold weather and snow / hates summer, and he’s only bred for the Zagros mountains and suchlike ares.

I know but he’s just a big single minded stubborn dog. Lovely animal, sunbathes in minus temperatures, low temperatures v food, the cold wins every time.

Mrs P working from home today. Murphy’s excuse to not leave the bedroom and chase the sun around the bed.

He’s done something and is feeling guilty about it but I’ll be buggered if I know what it is (yet)
