A sreious suggestion might be to buy two frames to display your record collection and step back from the brink.

How could you go wrong in accepting this offer?
Despite Bankruptcy beckoning once you have more vinyl and then wonder what if ??? And you slide down the slippery slope to oblivion.
At least I started on that slope 40 years ago so a £15k TT front end and thousands of “ vinyls” 
is eminently reasonable 
Had all the same portents of doom when I jumped in in 2010.

The Rega Planar Plus looks a bit less agricultural. Hey, I’m shallow.
I’ve realised that I have no sensible place to put it (the whole place is pretty bare).

Big words for a guy with only two ‘vinyls’.
Any fool knows that you don’t earn the right to that level of trolling until you’ve caught yourself examining the matrices on the inner grooves of your favourite LP to establish whether it’s a genuine UK first pressing or the deceptively similar, but not nearly as desirable Guatemalan repress.

Consider a Technics SL-10. It’s very compact being the size of an LP, has a built in phono stage. They’re incredibly well built and couldn’t be simpler to use.
I imagine it will outperform a cheap Rega or AT and will involve a lot less faff setting up. You can also buy a 3D printed stand for them on ebay for £20 which reduces the footprint further:

It’s a fair cop. I’ve always really liked the design. They’re just lovely things. I don’t really need it but I found it hard to resist a nice clean example from a trusted forum member like Jake.
