eBay stuff (Part 1)

Note he doesn’t say what spec the DAC is - ie upgraded psu, USB & co-ax etc.

He does say there will be more info and pics shortly.

You can’t really bid without knowing what the unit is so he’s not doing himself any favours unless he sorts it quickly.

There are over 6 days to go and nobody bids until the last 30 seconds so plenty of time.

I think this might be the one I missed out on AOS, sold within an hour or two on a Sunday morning, spdif only.

ebay are doing a lot of offers at the moment for £1 final selling fees so people (me included) just create an auction as you only have 24-48hrs per offer to list and then you can add photos etc later at your leisure.

Tidy one.

I still enjoy mine when I give it an airing now & again.

What’s the phonostage like in these Guy?

Pretty good both on MM and MC

I like the description - the subtle scumbagish undertones resonate perfectly, I suspect dealer in disguise. Excellent.

The perfect amp for those who enjoy “fast bass” - whatever that knob fuckery bullshit term might mean.

That’s a matter of opinion, I would say OK-ish MM and shite MC.

Don’t care, it has VU’s therefore is desirable.

Fast bass is a good thing.

This bass was slow and flabby. Look what happened to him

How does it measure?

£2.50.

Could be an easy fix? Pete might like them to make stereo?

Good price, good power amp, not sure about the pre. In today’s market value.

I’d always be wary of any home-built kits - could be good, could be complete bollocks. I certainly wouldn’t pay that money for any that are quite that old, dirty and scruffy.
