eBay stuff (Part 1)

Much nicer in the flesh than in photos.

Stunning  would be amplifier overkill with my speakers though.

Looks a nice phono preamp for the money.

Shame seller has only 1 feedback which has to be a red flag.

Can be, but not had an issue in the past if I have collected.

I’d be more worried by the fact the amp appears to have been built by @J_B if you check the docket attached to the amp.

That true. Interestingly the place he had feedback for as a buyer was a seller of electronic parts so wonder if he used said part for this amp or just a co-incidence.

Yes, I have started a small company building amps and mounting cartridges, please PM me for free estimates :+1:

Tricky business that, or so I’m told.

The same as the one I took to the Lopwell meet up. Nice amp, lots of power.

Pick one.

Not if you’re determined :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

A really good run up to generate a bit of pre-mounting momentum might be a good idea too :thinking:

… and have a large supply of cartridges to begin with.

Vaguely remember these being very good amps but having been stung by the seller in the past with an audio note amp I’m not going near it (or him)

Pretty sure Bob (ICHM) had one of these.

Think the brand had some connection to The Emporium - so that’s probably another good reason to steer clear.

The Hornings he is selling also look interesting…
