What do these Goldmund amps and speakers have to do with Pioneer?
I think they once got caught out using pretty much unaltered a standard Pioneer DVD players drive and boards in a expensive Goldmund badged DVD player.
Very old and badly written internet article. although others are available this does have useful pictures.
I am fully aware of that but this about their high end amps.
Lol, you went to all that trouble. Bless.
Glad you enjoyed the education.
Your Ph.D in fail always impresses.
So needy.
Collection only and he takes Paypal.
He doesn’t know much about scamming does he?
I know nothing about the suitability, but few on here with active projects?
I’m on my second pair. The ones pictured are the first version of the Cremona Auditor with the mermaid tail stands, like my current pair - and I paid a tad more than that. Having had both, I reckon they are better than the later Cremona Auditor M which is post-Serblin, though opinions vary. I sold my original pair and then re-bought my current pair because I missed them, despite owning supposedly “better” speakers. I prefer them to the Guarneri Memento I used to have. Love them playing jazz. The related little Cremona Auditor Elipsa are also very capable up against a wall in the right room.
If they go very quickly we’ll know that Bob is lurking.
My listening habits are less refined, a mix of funk/soul/indie/folk, so might be wasted on me if they don’t boogie. Current bohemoth Spendor’s are a bit overkill for my new living room, so having a mooch.
Well, I like them with tubes, but stick something animal like a Krell KAV-400xi up ‘em and turn up the wick and you’d be surprised…
Horns, the answer is horns!
I did so happen to test the waters by sharing a picture of some fetching blue horns with Victoria …“are those from the Pompidou Centre?!” was the response I got. I was happy with the architecture reference, not so chuffed with the knock to my speaker dreams …
You missed a trick there - you should have said they were designed by the same architect
never seen a pair of these in the UK, they are post Peter Snell designs from 1993
according to the Snell archive they cost $19,000 at the time and came with an 18" sub-woofer, which would make them quite interesting
Wonder if these are any good ?
Nice looking shop.
