eBay stuff (Part 1)

VU meters and proper Engrish in the manual.

They are very tempting, but as they were built with a subwoofer as part of the system it may be tricky to find one that will work with them.

I do like those.

Nottingham is a bit of a bastard for pick up though

Nice, fairly good price as well. No mention of the Domo stands though.

Trying to understand if these would work with my amps, Marantz MA-5 mono’s. Seems like they are typically paired with low output valves due to sensitivity.

They work well with class A s/s. Weber Rehde used a transistor amp to tune each pair.

I’m currently listening to a pair. They are quirky but fantastic speakers, very rare and built to last.

Lovely looking things. An uncouth funk loving fool like me would probably need a pair of subs…

Easy for me. Just ask.

Lovely old amps. Heard one years ago into Lowthers, nice.

Very 60s physics lab look going on.

I owned one of these and at the same time a similar sounding electrocompaniet amp they were very nice.

Want.

and another one

That 2nd one is the Chinese made version with a more conventional circuit.

Mad looking horn speaker setup. Looks so much nicer than that tat Keith is trying to flog on PFM. If you are going to get divorced/become homeless over speakers, this is a convenient way to go about it.

For once €980 shipping actually seems quite reasonable.
