I have always been a buyer and not a seller on Ebay with a patchy acquaintance with safe selling protocols , a little advice folks , A potential buyer residing in China ( Included in my shipping restricted list ) wishes to have an item shipped to an acquaintance in London.

As far as Ebay rules of engagement are concerned , were I to do so , would I have I discharged my obligations regarding shipping and no longer responsible for anything that may go wrong after delivery to the buyers designated destination ? He wishes to use Paypal.

Not unless that London address, is connected to his user name, on ebay.

Ta Muchly Guys :+1:

I’ve sold to a few buyers in China, they get around the country restrictions by using a freight forwarding company in the UK.

It’s not an issue as long as the tracking shows delivery confirmation to their UK address (which is the forwarding company)

This is also a good thing about ebay global shipping as your responsibility ends when you have shipped the parcel to the UK ebay global shipping warehouse.

The only way round this as the sellers address is registered on the purchase might be if he has a relative etc who can buy the item on eBay (You could then send to the registered buyers address) As noted above the buyer could also use an intermediary co but their address would need to be his registered address on eBay and PayPal. Never send to another address other than the registered eBay and PayPal address of the buyer as it voids all protections.

I shall take a look at the Global Shipping option Ta Muchly .

A tip you probably know, but if you tick the global shipping box, do put a weight and dims of box, or ebay will just make up a price for the customer.

It’s always slightly concerning when an advert for $100k speakers has that many spelling mistakes in it!

Also, if these are v1, how do you have a v2 and still argue they are the best? Surely this is a Highlander thing, there can be only one?

This all pales however in the face of having a 4 tonne hifi

Wait, I actually have the space for this!! Yes, definitely a whip-round required.

Pair with:

Rebuild would be a few hundred mind, if it can be done.

This might be a bargain:
