Nice take on a moon phase complication, using a pointer to moon date😁
I bought a ice power amp from China and guess what, it fired a molten fuse at me and went bang.
My GF is dealing with it on ebay but just noticed the comms and this guy is asking her to send the amp back to him before a refund is issued, is this standard? Any advice on how to deal with this?
We’ve had virtue signaling ( ), and now we have audiophile girlfriend signalling
She came in from the kitchen when it went bang and said “That didn’t sound like an audiophile fuse?”
As the goods were faulty I would ask for a prepaid label as the seller should cover return costs for a faulty item.
Make sure you do the entire returns process on ebay, do not communicate off site.
She asked me if my horn was airtight a few weeks back.
Cheers Kev!
“Don’t skip out on me” was the record by the way, it’s here safe and sound.
Although a more trivial purchase, I recently requested a return on goods not-as-described - seller basically ignored all ebay comms, and ebay likewise did not respond at-all, all I could do was leave a review detailing all shortcomings and neg the hell out of them. That was a UK seller - I suspect you don’t have an icecube-in-hell’s-chance with China.
Seems ebay’s buyer support is not what it once was…
I have experienced the exact opposite when dealing with eBay. Several times I have been sent return labels and on several occasions I have requested labels, the seller has refused several requests and eBay/Paypal has refunded and I got to keep the item.
‘no itchy policies’ ?
I have in the past, too, but this time the process dead-ended with no further responses.
If you ring them I expect you will get a refund. They give refunds like confetti.
